Autumn has a way of drawing people together. As the air cools and the leaves start to turn, there’s something comforting about gathering indoors with familiar faces, warm drinks, and the gentle buzz of conversation. This October, the Parish of Felixstowe is inviting everyone to enjoy exactly that at our Coffee Morning & Stalls at St John’s Church.
On Saturday 17th October, from 10:00 to 12:00, the church will be filled with the scents of freshly poured coffee, slices of homemade cake, and the friendly chatter that makes these mornings so special. It’s a simple event — but that’s precisely why it matters. These small moments of connection are often the ones people remember most.
☕ Coffee, Tea & Cake
Your £5 entry includes a drink and a slice of cake, lovingly prepared and served with a smile. Children come in free, making this a relaxed, family‑friendly morning where everyone can feel at home.
🛍️ Local Stalls
Alongside the refreshments, a selection of local stalls will be set up — the kind that invite you to browse slowly, pick up something handcrafted, or chat with the people who make and sell with passion. It’s a lovely way to support local creativity and discover something new.
🍁 A Warm Autumn Welcome
Whether you’re a regular at St John’s, someone who loves a good coffee morning, or simply curious about what’s happening in your community, you’ll be welcomed just as you are.
As autumn settles in, we hope this morning offers a gentle space to connect, enjoy, and feel part of something local and meaningful. Bring a friend, bring the family, or just bring yourself — there’ll be a warm drink waiting.
