It reminds us that growth doesn’t happen overnight — it comes from steady hands, patient work, and people who show up again and again with kindness and commitment. This year, St Edmund’s is marking that spirit with a Harvest Thank You Service, a celebration of Seedtime & Harvest and of the volunteers who make our community flourish.
On Saturday 26th September at 11.00 AM, our church will gather to give thanks for the teams behind Pitstop, Messy Church, and the Parish Pantry — three ministries that quietly shape everyday life for families across Felixstowe. Whether it’s a warm meal, a creative space for children, or a bag of essential groceries offered with dignity, these acts of service ripple far beyond the church walls.

This service is about recognising the people who pour their energy, compassion, and creativity into our community week after week. Volunteers who cook, craft, organise, welcome, listen, and care. People who make St Edmund’s a place where anyone can walk in and feel seen.
