We had a lovely and wonderfully messy time together at Messy Church, creating and enjoying our beach hut activities. It was a joyful reminder of how important it is to make space for creativity, fun, friendship and faith as we gather together.
The afternoon finished with a wonderful Adults versus Children and Young People challenge — with plenty of laughter and enthusiasm all round!
We are also delighted to celebrate some exciting new beginnings among our young people. We now have:
Olivia as our Youth Chaplain
Romi as our Young Creative Director
Freddie as our Sports Leader
These are important roles, and we are so pleased to see our young people stepping forward and sharing their gifts, ideas and energy with our church community.
As we move forward, everyone in Year 6 and above will also have opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities. We believe that young people are not simply the future of the Church — they are an important part of the Church today. Their voices, creativity, faith and leadership matter.
A huge thank you to all our young leaders. We are excited to see what God will do through them and look forward to all that lies ahead.
