Pitstop

Our current opening times are
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 9am-12pm. Every second Thursday 5pm-7pm, and every second Sunday 10am-2pm
Pitstop is a volunteer-run – donation-based group located in St Edmunds hall, Langer Road, Felixstowe.
Everything we have is donated to us for FREE by the public, so everything is rehomed for FREE!
Pitstop was started by Reverend Penny Brinkley, backed by Reverend Andrew Dotchin, with a simple vision in mind of helping the local community. We stock items such as buggies, nappies, milk, toys, books, games, blankets, shoes, and electricals, and our clothing size currently ranges from bump (maternity) to Adults.
We also hold several free events throughout the year. Our annual events are our Summer and Christmas parties, and they are always a hit. During these events, we host games, serve free hot food, play music, enjoy crafts, and try to raise funds through Tombola & hamper stalls.
Parish Pantry
The Parish Pantry is an initiative operating from St John’s Church. The Pantry functions as a top-up shop, providing free food and produce to those in need. Whether you’re in need of assistance or looking to contribute, the Parish Pantry welcomes you with open arms.
The Parish Pantry is open at St John’s 10-11 Wednesday to Saturday and 11-midday on Sundays. The food bank is open for one hour, but surplus perishables will be left on the table for the duration of the day.
We are also open at St Edmund’s on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 9am-10am
Lark Rise Retreats
Lark Rise Retreats offers a variety of events and retreats, It’s a place where individuals can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, find quiet rest, and explore their creativity in the presence of God. Whether you’re seeking spiritual growth or simply a moment of tranquillity, Lark Rise Retreats welcomes you.

We aim to offer people a space and time for people to relax and be with God. As we get busier it can be hard to find time for God. Our retreat days are an opportunity to step away from busyness and rest quietly. We love to provide space where people can have time to just be with God, without feeling guilty that they should be doing other things. We enjoy enabling people to explore their creative side, helping them to realise it isn’t the end result that is important, but the process and time spent in God’s presence.
